Working titele: Finding Home

I used to watch ER back in 94/95, and caught it every now and then over the years. It was always a good show, but my heart was always with the original crew. I've seen the last 5 eps now, lured in by the promise of guest appearances, and I have to say, they handled them gracefully. If you started watching the show in the last few years, you probably wondered who all these random people were - but they managed to stick the old crew in mostly as bit players, so if you knew them, it was cool, and if you didn't, it didn't matter. In the last ep, a fair bit of time was devoted to some of the originals, but centered on Carter, who I imagine any fan of the show would know.


I'm glad they gave almost everyone a happy ending. Ross and Carol happily together in Seattle, Benton happy and working at another hospital, his son Reese growing up well. Susan and Kerry were in the final ep - not sure what they're doing, but they were also happy and working, living out of town. Abby and Luka living together in Boston. Rachel Green still in touch with Elizabeth Corday and wants to become a doctor.

The only question mark was Carter and Kem, where things still seemed very up in the air and unhappy. Darnit. I really wanted them reunited. I guess you can't get everything - at least he got his med center and a new kidney, so that was good.
