Working titele: Finding Home

I have succumbed to the pressure, finally, and upgraded to FireFox 3 again. Some of you may recall my previous comments on the subject, and yes, I do still hate the default look of FF3. However, my add-ons have been upgraded/replicated so they work with the new version, and Mozilla has stopped maintaining FF2, so I figured I might as well bite the bullet.

To my extreme annoyance the upgrade completely screwed up my bookmarks, so I had fun this morning trying to get them back. So fun.

Then I spent way too much time finding a skin I liked, and modifying it slightly so the tabs became prettier. Oh well, at least it looks OK now.

Yesterday transferring about 4gig from my USB stick to the new shiny toy took about 5-10 minutes. Today transferring 2gig of the same type of files from the same USB stick is calculated as going to take about 50 min - what gives?
